Repurposing the site as an official blog.

so i’ve finally decided to do it. i have enough work coming in that i can actually talk about whats getting done in my writing endeavors and what people can look for next. currently, i have tech related articles on sites like and and i am doing another two tech pieces for and but i dont necessarily like doing the article thing. from time to time i will announce that i am working on one but that’s not what i like talking about. i’m into creative writing.

right now, i am working on a character owned by called Elvis the Zombie. i’m still looking for an artist for this one but i envision it to be a hip, upbeat book with a manga-esque style to it. kinda like the way they did the Teen Titans show–normal looking characters with over-exaggerated expressions depicting certain heightened emotions or moods. maybe a bead of sweat during a “phew” or a vein pop of the forehead at an intense/angry moment but not full on DBZ or Naruto. its got a lot of jokes in it and Elvis gets bagged on pretty hard during the course of the series but in the end he is a better zombie for it. i just finished writing the script for episode one (its written in screenplay format for cartoons, movies, etc.), it’s called “Living the Dream”, and i am constructing the plot for episode two now.

those two tech articles are not going to be fun. they are work. but if anyone has a Samsung Galaxy, an iPhone 4 or a Motorola DROID X let me know. i need to review them…after i google “how to write a review”.

i received the first full color art page the other day. an artist doing my Hoody story, titled “Listen”, Westley J. Smith, sent it to me for review. he’s really rocking the art on that thing. i’m so glad to be working with him. “Listen” is a five page proposal that will be sent to various publishers in an attempt to get interest in an ongoing series contract or even a graphic novel. i will post the art soon.

i also received art from Fletcher Horton, another amazingly talented digital artist who is absolutely killing from what i saw. i will post a full color pic when i get one but the barebones draft he sent me is definitely what’s up.

more to come,

I am a published (although still not quite a professional) comic/script/screenplay writer interested in telling some pretty weird, but ultimately thought provoking stories. I am currently sending a lot of stories to I'm a Geek Ent. so I am looking for artists interested in adding to their published portfolio. If so, email me at or message me here and I will be sure to get back to you ASAP.
