Yeah so uh… My bad. xD

Okay, so I’ve been super busy working on my http://savyercity.x10.mx website along with the comic work I’ve been getting so I haven’t really been able to devote much time to keeping this blog. But here are a few things I’ve been up to:

First up, Fables for Japan Book 3 is almost here. It’s only about four bucks and it’s for a great cause. Here is page one of a story called The 47th Samurai. It’s about a young ronin trying to regain his honor after his master’s death and stems from the legend of the 47 Ronin.

The second story I wrote for Book Three of Fables is called Don’t Fear the Reaper and Ken Bastard of http://KenBastard.com did the art. This is page two of my take on a futuristic fable. Thanks to Jason Minor for (heavily) editing this story and getting it to where it is.

I am also working on The Undesirables Anthology. More about that later, but check out this awesome line work by Daniel Pereira dos Santos!

New Site and Lotsa News

Okay, so yeah, it’s been awhile. I know, I know, quit slacking. But I honestly haven’t been. I’ve been seriously busy lately. I’m working on a new web comic for Elvis the Zombie as well as doing Season Two now that we are shopping the property around to different networks and stuff. Westley James Smith is back with us and he’s getting down on some Elvis concept art to show that he’s back in good shape from his eye problems and ready to rock. See the Elvis pic below if you don’t believe me.

See? I told ya so. Added to my plate, I am working with the extremely talented Mark Beer and Phil Woodward on Tartarus Rising, a series about mythology and super heroes. Very cool stuff going on there. Check out some of the work Mark’s done for it.

I’m also working on a vampire series with the insanely talented Kiel Creagh. This series is basically me letting my nappy roots down and putting my foot in some good old fashion vamp storytelling. I hope you guys like it. I may upload a short teaser script or maybe I’ll wait for Kiel to finish the promo. Not sure yet. Let me know what you think of Kiel’s work.

I know there’s more in store but then I wouldn’t have an update for next time. I’m slow-playing it, guys. Stay tuned!

StrayLnao has done it again. Mongrel this time! The Chimera Project is really shaping up to be something serious. How ever will a ragtag group of science experiments survive against them? Since I have yet to write issue one, I guess we’ll find out together.

Two More Scripts — Nephilim and Medusa

Decided to upload these two scripts even though they are still pretty rough. I like them a lot. They help round out The Chimera Project’s back stories. Tor and Byrd may get one. They may not. Depends on how the next few days go, I guess. Enjoy!

Okay, so as you all know, StrayLnao on DA did an amazing job on my Chimera Project’s Nephilim character. She had such a good time with Nephilim, she asked if I might have any other characters she could work her magic on. And magic it is. Check out this pinup of Medusa, a member of the genetically mutated Chimeras.

Official Mongrel Pinup by David Castro!

Thanks to David Castro for this pinup of a pre-transformation Mongrel. David is doing a stellar job on the art for Mongrel’s backstory, which introduces her to the Chimera Project and takes place before she is transformed into a feral beast that is more animal than human.

If you haven’t already read “Fight or Flight”, Mongrel’s back story, written by me, you should. That’s all I’m gonna say about that.
